I'm hopin' he'll cut me some slack. I don't think seeing the exposed chassis helps my cause much though. I was hoping I could have most of it covered up before he saw it. But, as long as I don't do something stupid and keep my foot out of it I think he'll be O.K. with it. ....I hope."PLAN" your life like you will live to 120.

Not so sure I would worry so much about the chief who probably does no road patrol as I would some of his fuzzy cheeked patrolmen that most likely aspire to greater glory then being a town cop on a dead end jobDave W

One front fender left to tweak a bit on the coupe, then on to the doors and deck lid. Hope to get everything in the final primer this week.
Even spent some time on the Bronco II today, installed a good solid brace between the door jams and got one more section of the old floor cut out.... Won't be much longer now and the body will be on the rotissierie and start looking better. I do have everything in shape now to start working on all the dimensions for the frame and cage, gonna take Tech's advice and draw everything out at 1/2 scale before I even bother ordering the tubing.... Tom's coming to get his coupe on the 28th, so I'll be staying on it to make sure it's ready for him....
Here's a couple shots of the coupe, one of the Por 15 on the inside of the left front fender, and another of the car coming apart so I can prime and block 1 more time.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

After today, the body and all 4 fenders will be ready for primer plus a collection of smaller parts, too. Worked on the dashboard that Tom brought over last trip... Looks like it will be a survivor too. Have to get the deck lid back together, finish the doors, and a bunch of small parts yet... I'm going to get the primer on the parts I have ready now, then go to work on the rest of the parts....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

One of the last of the problem areas on the coupe is the doors... Driver's door isn't too terribly bad, but the passenger's door was really hammered. The skin had been partially removed, so I had to finish taking the door apart to straighten out some of the damage and to get the broken screws out of the hinges.... Have a couple of rusted areas on the bottom of the door to weld patches in, then I'll start straightening out the damage and putting the two pieces back together. Also got the inside structure for the deck lid repaired and "derusted" today, hopefully I can get some Por 15 on the pieces and start putting them back together....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Looks like you have been "burning the midnight oil" the last couple of weeks to get my coupe done. DO NOT OVER DO YOURSELF!!!!!!! I can wait longer for it. It looks like an awful lot of work to get done in just a week.
