I like anything that requires countless hours of sheetmetal work that you could never hope to get half of your labor money back when you sell it!!!!!!!!!Oh well, lose a little on every deal and make it up in volume!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

I didn't remember who made them, just remember seeing some V8 Corvair's years back... Heck with an aluminum block and heads would work out quite well!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Yes Crown made the most popular kit. No longer available new, but a used setup pops up from time to time. The weak area was the stock Corvair diff that was used. 4 spiders made it better, but still restricted your horsepower potential if you abuse it. Trans (used66-69 Corvair 4 speed) is pretty much the same internally as full size Saginaw.
Dave. I admit to being weird that way. I actually enjoy the design and building process (some say more than driving the finished product ).

Ha ha. ya... "finished" equals "FOR SALE" here also. I try to never finish a car for that reason, but sometimes you just can't help it . I have three cars for sale at the moment. too bad the economy sucks so bad hard to start new ones when the garage is full of "finished" ones.
Cheers,

And, it fits in the void behind the door with the Bead Roller, Shrinker/Stretcher, Plannishing Hammer & Welding table when they aren't in use. So, I'm hardly loosing any floor space at all when it's all put away. I have to add one more receiver on the storage rack for the vise since I now have one more attachment than I do storage rack receivers. On normal days this space is just more or less a hallway to the back room where the CNC is (where I normally do sign work). I need this space open so I can get materials into the room and signs back out.

Looks like it will work out quite well for you Pro!!!! When a guy has more projects and work then you do square footage, you have to get good at managing your work areas!!!! Of course, when I had my big shop, I just packed more stuff in there till it was overcrowded, too!!!!!!!! But you're a level headed guy, I know you would never fall into that same situation should you build a big shop!!!!!!!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Hey Dave. Check out bangshift.com. They have a live feed from CHRR. Nostalgia drag racing at it's best. Rapid Randy Baker is there with the Danny Miller Rear Gears N/FC and VIC Miller is there with his newly restored VENNY'S VEGA Alcohol Funny Car. Pretty Cool."PLAN" your life like you will live to 120.
