To have that same horsepower to weight ratio on the street is almost obscene!!!! (But then a lot of the things I like are either obscene or illegal)Mike

Well now you know somebody that did, Mike. Back before the days of wings, too. We quit in '78. "Bicycling" the car was the wildest of rides, if you hooked a rut wrong, or slid up to the cushion with no side bite the car had a tendency to get up on 2 wheels on one side, not a good ride and usually followed by flips, cartwheels, wall encounters, and other things not necessarily conducive to the health and well being of a sprint car and it's occupant!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

How can it fail! It's the perfect formula, 0ne part hotrod iron (tube frame and T front nose?), one part adrinaline(750 hp), and one part stimulation(30 cars on a 1/2 mile track). How can anyone not enjoy that!!!"Sunshine, a street rod and a winding beautiful Ozarks road is truely Bliss!"

My 81 chev
I found your site today, It looks awesome. Spent most of the day reading different threads. Alot of helpful information. I am currently working on an 81 chev pick up. I put a 91 sub front end on it after my neighbor smashed into it. Had it parked there after the timing chain went out. So i pulled it into the garage and went to town on it. Got it all togther last weekend and while adjusting the timing it threw a rod. So I have a 350 I will be putting in it. I will put new seals in the tranny while i have that out also. I know this truck isnt as old as some might want it to be here. but i have to get this running and looking sharp so i can bring my new project car that was given to me home. Once I get the truck where i want it i will start on a 1938 Desoto 2 door sedan. I will need alot of advice on that one when i start it. Hopefully i will be able to turn to you guys."The most terrifying words in the English language are: I'm from the
