I spent part of the day working on the '57, got some more of the nasty grungy stuff ground off the inside of the body... But mostly just measuring and making notes on build possibilities and options. Also spent a bit of time on the Plymouth--waiting for the last of the parts to get here then it should be out of here soon and I can settle in working on my stuff for awhile!!!!!
Certainly no earth shaking news on either project and nothing really worth a picture but a bit more done on each!

I have been working beside Lyndas Cusso,too,, gunna sneak up on it very soon,and scare the daylights out of it..
I have for the last few months,between jobs,,repairing,and preparing some 29 A roadster bits and pieces..No body down here makes a 29 roadster,,so its up to me to be the one,,but,as usual,I want to do it the hard way,,and have each part of the cowl laid up separately,,and bolted together,as an original looking cowl..When things get a little more progressed,I will sort out the pix,and start a build log on the development..I am still waiting for a few bits and pieces to arrive,,but am aiming for the whole body to be ready for molding in about three or four months..However,the cowl will be done first,so I can get the word out there...
And,because I want a roadster before I am too old to enjoy it,,(and while I still have hair)I have the beginnings here..and a reasonable amount of bits and pieces to go into it..Micah 6:8
If we aren't supposed to have midnight snacks,,,WHY is there a light in the refrigerator???

Robin, Dwight Bond originally built the '29 roadster body he marketed with the back portion of the body in pieces as the original. I don't recall if he went to the same effort on the cowl portion. I commend you for making those decisions.
I spent some time getting the rebuilt 97s on the '30 roadster earlier in the week. Though I remade new fuel lines to accomodate the vintage regulator, I stuck with the period typical copper material. Had it out to the SoCal Las Vegas open house yesterday and saw kennyd.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

Yeah Dave, the carbs work pretty well, but I'm still tweaking the cold running end. With those high risers it takes awhile for the heat to get there, and this engine runs cool to start with. Once the engine temp gets to 150 or so she smooths out nicely.
Kenny brought the Good Guys '55 convert out for SEMA. and a few other things. He's spent more time growing the body shop business than working on customer cars this past year.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
