The rear end housing and bell ends weren't cheap, but the rest of the parts i made from plate aluminum on the CNC so they didn't cost much other than allot a time. Should be a functioning/assembled rear end by next weekend, I hope.

the parts look awesome, you wouldn;t need chrome with aluminum looked like that all the time.

Personally I have been fighting the timing on my new engine. If I time it where it belongs so it runs good, it won't crank over. If I retard it so it will start, it won't run. I have replaced the vacum advance and no difference. I am going to take the distributor in today and have the curve tested, we'll see if that works. I haven't been able to get it to runn good enough to break it in!

New distributor because of a bad bearing, new coil just because and it's still doing the same thing. I will have a day ahead of me playing with the timing I can see that now.

Once the rear end is installed ....... it's a roller>>>

Very sweet Pro70, it's "Rolling" along nicely huh! You have really come a long way this winter, you must be getting really excited to see her sitting on her own wheels! Very cool!

Yup Brick. As of about an hour ago.......after 3 years to the month........IT'S A ROLLER !!!!!!!!

Pro70z28, absolutely magnificent workmanship. What a gorgeous car. You must be on a first name basis with your tubing notcher by now !!!

What are your plans for the car? I see big Mickey types on the rear, which makes me think street. Are you planning some strip time too?

Really really nice. And, isn't it cool when you can push them out into the daylight for the first time?

thanks Firechicken. Still got to install the rear brakes but I ran short of time.

It started out as a mild street car. It's been getting a little less street and a little more strip as the build is progressing. I think I'll get a pair of slicks on bead-locks for when I get serious.

Better weld on some brackets for wheelie bars, I think you gonna need um!!!
