QUOTE "ok, i guess you guys are right. maybe i shoudnt bash someone else if they dont love what i do. sometiems i just get so pis*sed when people shoot stuff that i liek down it gets the best of me. i guess there are good tips and bad tips. and pretty much why not we all do what we want and be happy"
Sounds about right, getting mad just means you really care. And are you building a rat rod right now? If so, what is it? I've got a '25 Chevy roadster in the works that'll be as home-built as they come. You can see it my way, or you can be wrong.
Everyone is entitled to my opinion.

im not buidling a rat rod right now. but i plan to. i can only plan until i save enuf money to get a shell. and 72gto judge im goign to copy and paste something off a diff forum that u posted on QUOTE:Rat rods are not by definition unsafe, and not all "rat rodders" hate every finished car on the road. It's the lack of creativity (off the shelf unmodified fiberglass bodies, 350 engines, boring paint jobs) that rat rodders don't like, end quote this is what i have been trying to say. and ive also got the 2 grand saved up for the 56 chey thats going to be my gasser. the same guy has a few old 20's and 30's shells i am looking at. the point is i am trying. and it will be done before im 21 ......................................scooter

kewl idea, Scooter. I admire your dedication on getting a shop and a car done by the time your 21. If you focus on that idea and drop the anger, you will no doubt be able to accomplish it. Let's just drop all this stuff and get back to the biz of building hot rods. Scooter, you would be welcome in my shop anyday. But, don't think for a minute that I wouldn't pick on you!!!! Nose up with an I-beam and a moon tank in the grille would be a hot way to do up a '56 Chevy. You could always paint it red and white, put in a 350 and some Cragars, and blend into the background like everyone else does. Something different will always get my attention, the most detailed, clean, fit and finished car that looks like everyone elses will never compete with someone's stand out design (in my opinion)
