Ms. Meag, I am teaching a class for about the eighth time in which we discuss the effect of petroleum use on global warming and the design of "green automobiles" and most of the young women in the class are just in favor of "grocery-getter transportation" which has led me into an internal conflict over the choice between tire burning acceleration and 40 mpg which appears to be generally impossible, but the 700R4 in new Corvettes may approach that. Thus it is wonderful to find encouragement from such a nice young woman as you appear to be. Maybe you need to follow up some Corvette ads? I am stuck with mental images of "cute" Model-A roadsters so Camaros look like "late models" to me, but maybe you should attend some Corvette shows or even Cobra shows to find just the right owner. Best Wishes.

Meag, Really glad you had a good time and enjoyed the view down there...sorry it didn't work out with Mr. Wrong....i'm impressed with your restraint on the bad-mouthing end...shows class...which obviously didn't rub off on "Mr. I impress myself, hmmmm do I look better than this Cobra guy...."...see i'm a little short on class so I can say the yucky stuff ha ha!...In fact...I could use a little fun...ya want me to go toilet paper his house? ...you'll find another super guy...an maybe he'll come with a Hot Camero & a cook! Be sharp! JeriYou miss 100% of the shots you never take

You people are awesome! I love it when people are on my side hehe no Mr. Wrong is not the grey haired dude, he is the other one.
Don I really am not sure what to think of the new Corvette... of course I have been saying that year after year now lol. That's the first car I ever fell in love with (the Stingray) so I can't really say I dislike them, but the new shape has to grow on me a bit I guess. I've seen some georgous Corvettes at car shows but I always seem to forget my camera! "grocery-getter transportation" seems to work well with some but for me, I need something loud and fast that will cream any opponent. If that's not girly I don't know what is I actually have been trying to force myself to like the more environmentally friendly cars because it seems like the right thing but it would be so hard getting used to!
haha Racer I knew you sounded like the romantic type.
Jeri toilet papering someone's house would be wrong *cough do it do it! cough cough* but I can't stop you! There is a big difference between chicks who actually like cars =]~ (wink), and chicks who want to wear bikinis next to them

At Least the C5 and C6 Vettes are better looking than the C4(1984 - 1996)
As far as the Enviotnmenytally friendly issue , Don't worry about it . You can always have an economical car for everyday use and not worry about going to the mall being afraid of door dings etc... and have your 67 - 69 Camaro for Cruises. You would enjoy the Camaro more that way because you will have something to look forward to .The cost is nat as bad as some will tell you . and in the long run it will actualy save money and increase the value of the Camaro over time.
Be like trhe Nike commercials and just do it .

I laughed at your "Looks like he is into Imports and cant handle Detroit MuscleCArs." comment, I think you hit it on the nose."Now bring me those cheese sandwich appetizers you talked me out of."

haha well that would be a great thing to rag on him for, but he's owned some of the best cars... Camaros, Novas, Mustangs.. all kinds of stuff. I was surprised at how many great cars they had in Tampa... I saw so many awesome muscle cars I hardly ever see around here. I didn't see one Honda Civic with a bodykit! Thank goodness for that, I wish we had more great cars in NH and not as many pimped out imports. I never understood why someone would put so much work and money into a crappy car when you can obviously afford to buy a better one! There is a big difference between chicks who actually like cars =]~ (wink), and chicks who want to wear bikinis next to them
Thank you Roger. .
