Project updates
It's been busy the last couple of months. The kids custody battle is just about over and things are back to about level again. I took a temp job (should be over in a couple of weeks....... so much for semi retired), the refinancing on the house came through and we sold the wifes Cobra II (her idea). The end result is....
I bought the 37 Dodge PU back:
Current plans are to put it on the back burner until I get the 57 Plymouth done, but it's now back home.
I've managed to put the parts I had on hand for the 57 Plymouth on it. It now has rebuilt front and rear suspensions, front disc brakes, a 9 1/4" 4.10 Posi and the new brake and clutch peddles are installed. I'm on a holding pattern getting the V8 motormounts installed until I get the pieces to mount the tranny on the block so I can center everything prior to welding (I have a friend in Florida whos going to be sending what I need up but unfortunatly Charlie, Francis, and now Ivan are not helping matters, he lives just outside of Melborne and has some other priorities right now). In the mean time I keep checking E Bay for the missing trim pieces I need.
And last but not least, my wife who somehow puts up with me misses her Cobra II (god knows why) so I'm going to fix up the 74 Mustang II for her. Not too much to do on that, change it to an automatic, add AC and a paint job.
AND LIFE ROLLS ON
