Streetbeast stuff is not highly regarded by knowledgable rodders. As a result, they have poor resale value. Everything you do to the car will cost the same as if you'd started with something good, so the little you might save with the initial purchase will be blown in extra work and expense trying to make something decent out of it. And it will still have the slightly askew shape, and low value that is inherent in Streetbeast. And don't fool yourself into believing that you won't be selling it someday, you will, and that's when you will regret the choice.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

Every Street Beast I have ever looked at, 5 or 6, has had door fit problems. And, they don't look quite "right" to my critical eye.
Quality aftermarket street rod bodies and chassis are true to the original critical dementions. You can put a glass body on a stock frame and an original body on a fabricated chassis. You can get a chassis from one supplier and the body from another or you can opt for a package from a single source. With careful shopping you can save big.
There are quality body and chassis manufactures and there dealers all over the country. Tell me where you live and I, or another one of the board posters will try to give you some suggestions. An Old California Rodder
