Project Debut
Well it's 8 months Later and My brothers 36 finally made its maiden voyage, to none other than Billet Proof 04. Along with our friend Johns 29 Roadster PU. Both built in Johns garage with many people involved to lend a helping hand. My 54 is next on the list now that the dust has settled and they made their much anticipated due date and deadline they set for each other. Plus many stressed out weekends of wrenchin, yellin, huggin, wrenchin etc. They arent "done" but you know the deal.
P.S. If you can ID the grill on Johns RPU we would be greatful. The joke is we stole it off Jay Lenos Duesenburg. Its got 8 inches sectioned out of it to shorten the height. And not sure if he had time to put the suround trim back on before this pic.Justin RFFR

Justin, can't tell what grill the 29 has but those 3 dueces are sitting pretty. Two nice looking rods.Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

Hmmm, at first it looked like a sectioned '36-7 Lincoln K grille, but the trim at the top and bottom isn't right. Got any pictures with more detail on the emblem/trim at the top?Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.
Luck occurs when preparation and opportunity converge.

The emblem is from a trophy, so it dont count but to throw people off. I think I might know what it is, 33 or 34 Diamond T. Heres another shot, it's got a tear dropped filler and a heart shaped bottom molding.Last edited by Justin94117; 09-27-2004 at 06:25 PM.

Good call Justin, '34 & 5 had that style. From what I could find the '33's were plated surrounds.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

It was a pretty impressive grill when he got it. Picked it up at a swap fer $15 or so. It has three vertical rods with brass spacers between the stainless horizontal bars. It would be great to get our hands on one of those "T" filler caps, those are sweet looking.Justin RFFR
