Found another possible vehicle
In a town near mine theres a 1966 Ford F100, shortbed stepside for sale. I looked at it and there is bondo on the front fenders right infront of the tire and the bed is very solid, looked at the interior and it looks good, tried to pop the hood to see what motor it had, I figured it would have had a 6cyl or a 352 but I coulden't get the hood open ( might have not pulled the release far enough ), I called the guy and he said that it had a mustang 6cyl from a late 1960's mustang. (When I looked at the shifter, I figured out it was a 3spd on the floor and I thought it looked odd because it looked like that of what a 60's mustang would have, chrome with a white shift knob and that special angle that a lot of cars had such as the mustang and when I found out it had a mustang engine, I figured, it may have the transmission from the stang too but probably just the shifter ). The truck needs a clutch and the guy only wants 700 for it and that's negotible he said. I'm going to go back with the guy being there tonight or tomorronight ( it's not at his house, he lives in the boonies and would never sell it there ) and my mom wants my dad to look at it, also be able to buy it then if it is the right vehicle. Did I mention that it's 2wd. What do you guys think? I figured I could make profit when I sold it because the fenders and things are easy to find because of company's like LMC.Last edited by Matt167; 10-04-2004 at 12:28 PM.
