Dave,
Can't make Oklahoma City, but may be at Springfield, MO in May. That'll be in your neck of the woods too (I think).

Hang Outs...
Well I have a room at the Motel 6...
Not exactly sure what part of the park I will be at... I will be with a group of local guys... There will be a Black blown big block 34 3-window highboy, a silver 33 full fendered roadster an Electric Blue 36 coupe and of course my Obnoxiously Orange 32 Roadster in our group...
I was also considering entering the Streets of Rods event on Saturday, I think they are supposed to have Roadster Road or something like that...
What will you guys be driving...
We should definately try to at least hang out for a while if possible...
DanJ... Your Sedan is looking good!!! You planning on having it finished, as of now I am planning on attending Springfield too... Actually it is the closest event to me...

Dave,
Thanks for the compliment on my ride. Making the Springfield show is my "target" for being finished.... Hopefully I can make it by then. If so, I'll be traveling with a group of guys from NE Arkansas. I'll touch bases with you as we approach the end of May, and maybe we can visit (if I make the trip).

Sounds good...
I know what you mean about deadlines... My plan was to have mine on the road again in time to make the OKC event last year... I finished putting the car back together the Thursday before Springfield last year... It was a good feeling to have make it to the event and cruise the fairgrounds last year!!!
I will definately look forward to meeting up with you in May...

Hey Dave, I'll try my best to make it over to OKC on Saturday. Unfortunately, the 55 is currently in pieces (looks like a year long project) so I'll be coming in my daily driver. I'll look for the orange 32.... Don

Don...
If you make it up to OKC be sure to introduce yourself... I was checking out the photos in your gallery of the 55... Looks like it is going to be a very nice ride when you get it all put together... Let me know if there are any cool events coming up in your neck of the woods and I'll try to attend...
Take care...

Well, I actually made it this year. I DID ENJOY THE TRIP!!! ...and the cars, and the adult beverages, and the weather, and the BS with a lot of strangers. Thanks, I needed that.
I'll put up a couple of pictures in the gallery.

Wish I could have made it to OKC this year.. the 55 is still under the knife. Like most of my projects, this is taking twice as long and costing twice as much.

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
