Went to a local car show yesterday and entered my car. I placed and got my first trophy...wwwwwwwoooooohhhhoooooooo.....LOL! Here is a pic of my favorite car at the show. The owner bought it from Cali. Anyone seen this before? I LOVE the flames.

This one had interior that matched the same colors on the outside.

This truck Belonged to Lorrene Green (Bonanza) that was just recently auctioned off in our area.

This one is for that special female here that has a liking for camaros.

Especially those that are in the ten year old range, where a positive comment and action by you can make a change in a kid's whole life...

And ask the babes to sit in your car for pic's...
You probably won't get anything more than a dirty look from her boyfriend, but the pic's will last a lifetime

Your first trophy...wow, now you're not a "virgin" anymore!

Hooray !!! (er, um, for the trophy, not the virgin thing...)

Congratulations! Now they got you hooked, you'll be pawing through all the Cruisin papers looking for events to go to, every week-end will be committed. But oh no! It's October the season is nearly over, rain and snow are coming... Guess you will have to wait till next year to become a car show slave!

Great job, hope you have a prominant place to display that trophy, and you got all winter to build a display case to hold the others!

That's cool man, your car is really nice. I made a comment in an earlier post on how not lots of people paint their 30's style cars in white and how they look real good especially with tinted windows and all and yours is a PERFECT example on one. I used to not like white because I saw a lot of newer cars and all with white and it was plain but I like it on old hot/street rods, gives it that nice clean and plain look. Next summer I plan to take my rod to some shows if it's finished by then but don't care if I got a trophy or not, it would be sweet to get one thought but I think it would be sweet to actually go to a show IN a hot rod and look around still instead of going there in some non hot rod vehicle and just looking at other peoples cars, I bet it is cool to sit back, look at your ride being looked at and seeing expressions on peoples faces. It would really make you appreciate what you built... Good luck in the future on the shows too, let us know what other shows you are going to go to.
