Big block into a 56 Chevy

    Hi,

I was wondering the best way to mount a 454 and automatic transmission into a 56 Chevy chassis. Right now, the chassis has all the stock components. Do they make aftermarket motor mount brackets for this application and if so, where do you buy them? Also how do you mount the transmission and avoid the bellhousing mounts? Have not done this before so I thought I would ask before I end up welding the engine in Docjim

Read this thread, there're several suggestions......some stated more than once.
