Sweet new Avatar you got there Jeri. That's sure a fire bird. Let me guess... flat black will be on this car? Or primer grey.

    Rod,
The washington thing came down to fianaces. Its cheap to raise my kid here, the wife dont have to work and there are a lot of cars out in the woods to build. WB, its a seller. Im amassing parts to build me a 29 tudor, with a blown small block and all old skool.
As for the color, Im not sure.

If you are going to sell it then I would just leave it like that and let whoever buy's it paint it then. That's a great car though. I think I would take one of those over a T bucket... MAYBE!

    Hey, Jim:

When you get it running, how'd you trade on a 55 F100?

What about a 1948 Chevy Coupe? Which one would you rather have, my Chevy or a Ford? heh Just messing, I wouldn't trade my car, I want to get mine all done and do everything from the frame up. I really like the way you have the front end sitting on that damn car though.

Jim, if it weren't so far out there from western Iowa, I'd offer a trade withou t it running, but the 55 F100 would have a 351 W and and auto, instead of the 390 W/3x cause tha(390) is what I'd like to put in the A-bone.

Trades are cool, but if i sell it , it will be to pay for health insurance for my family for next year. And I think the insurance co. will want cash.

I hear you there, Jim. Funny that companies like that don't want anything but your cash.

The motor is a 1988 sbc 350, dressed up in an altered 62 vette dual quads, and a set of custom made Rocket valve covers.
    Trans is a turbo 400

Thats why when I retired from the Navy I moved back to Texas. Couldnt deal with the high cost of low living in Kalifornia.

Love the look of chopped and channeled A coupes. I have built one chopped and channeled coupe, and one channeled roadster. They look real sweet, but when you get old and fat and full of arthritis, it just kills to set flat on your butt with your legs stuck straight out. Car ain't much good if it hurts to drive the dang thing. This time around I'm building a stock height, unchanneled roadster pickup. It don't look quite as slinky as the other 2 builds, but I bet it'll be more comfortable for a road trip.

this car has a stepped frame front and back. Its only channeled 2" even though it looks a lot more than that. It actually sits pretty nice inside, but I know what you mean. If you cant stand driven em, then why have em.
