Found some oldies...
Hey all! I passed a small car lot in the Poconos and had to slam the brakes and take a closer look. There are eight cars out front, and I'm sure there are more in the back. Told a friend of mine about it, and he knew of the place. Appears that they are old movie cars, not necessarily "star" cars, but the "extras" on the streets. He said he spoke with the owner, and that he does not work on the cars, some run, some run rough, and some he can't get started. The prices seem decent (actual book values on the windshields). If anyone's interested, I can get the number this weekend. I may even need to add another to my stable. I like the '55 4 door, a family hot rod, the '52 4 door is kind cool, too.
Matt
P.S. I don't own these, but thought somebody might be looking for a new toy.

Greetings all, sorry it took so long to get this info, haven’t made it to the Poconos because of the weather. Phone Number is 646-529-2040. The lot is located on 507, just about a mile south of I-84 (near Lake Wallenpaupack), either Greenetown or Newfoundland, the town lines blur a bit. As for MOPARS, not that I’ve seen, but maybe in the back. The name on the sign is Greg . Best of luck to any interested parties. Haven’t seen any of them sold yet. Last time by, he had a car trailer for sale, too.

Hi Kurb, sorry, I'm not usually online at night. The Plym.. Sedan is still in the planning stages (after 8 or so years; it's the project that will never be finished). Considered a Nova clip, but after searching the "yards", planning on either a custom built, or really leaning towards an s-15 complete frame. That is available to me for free; running gear, everything, the body is shot from a rollover (and yes, the frame is a-ok. even if it wasn't, I have frame straightening equipment). The pics of the sedan are on my site, www.34k.com . What all have you done to yours, and have any pics?

Hey 40Roadking, Do you recall the price on the 55 4 door? Are buying it or is it free game?

I believe it was $3800. Currently under 18 inches of snow. I'm up near the lot now, and I'll double check the prices, and post it tommorow a.m.

The sport coupe on the lower right is a Volvo p1800. Watch the original "The Saint" series on A & E or BBC to see some better pics. Or do a Google search for Volvo p1800.Ensure that the path of least resistance is not you...

Yep, Volvo p1800, my neighbor was going to buy it, but changed mind. Okay, 55 is $3800, 73 volvo p1800 is $4200, 52 is $3200, 72 VW bug is $4800. No chevy wagons, and Poconos are about 6-7 hours from Pittsburgh. All cars are free game. Any more questions, feel free. I assume that these are simply asking prices, probably negotioable, since nothing has left the lot in two months.

Such nice cars up there in all that snow. People are stupid to leave old cars in snow. I would try to buy them just so I don't have to see them start getting some rust on em.www.streamlineautocare.com
If you wan't something done right, then you have to do it yourself!
Thank you Roger. .
