'72 340 Duster
I have an a #'s matching '72 340 Duster. The engine is currently out of the car. All of the parts have been re-done and are ready to re-assemble and re-store this car. It has been sitting in my mothers barn for the last 13 years ( I was in the Army and based outside of the U.S. so it had to sit.) The body is very solid, only minor surface rust. Floor boards and trunk perfect. Trans has only 1500 miles on it. The only thing I am missing on this car to put it back to factory original is the exhaust manifolds. The motor is bored .040 over, TRW flat top pistons, the rods are shot peened, the crank is turned .010 under, the block was line bored and the whole rotating assembly was balanced. The heads are still in the head bags. I have an Edelbrock performer RPM intake and cam for it. I bought Rhoades lifters, Which are still in the box, Edelbrock carb, headers. I have a new dual roller timing chain and gears, bearings, and complete gasket set to put it back together. I also have the original intake and carb as well. It still has the original aircleaner housing. It was originally B5 blue but it is now sky blue. The interior is in good shape, the seats are original, not a tear in them, it has the floor console, dash pad is good as well. It does need a new head liner though. Drop me a line if interested. I hate to part with it, I bought it when I was 14 years old, I am now 38. I will have pictures of it here soon.Chad
