auction on Saturday, take a look !!!!
Just a note for any of you guys looking for collector cars, hot rods, or projects. Van Der Brink Auctions is having their annual car auction tomorrow ( Sat, 25 June) I was over there today to deliver a friends car and preview some of the units for auction tomorrow. This is an annual auction, I found out the big difference this year is that you can bid for the cars on line. If you are interested, take a look at their website, www.icollector.com. It is a link on the top rite of the site. The auction company's web site is www.vanderbrinkauctions.com. I have bought a few cars at their past auctions, they are very honest and straight forward. The phone number is 605-201-7005 and the auction is in Garretson, SD.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Oh yeah, if you know of any big buck collectors in the market for a really rare piece, there is a 1927 Lincoln Model J Judkin Coupe on the auction. It's a gorgeous car and according to the owner one of only 6 ever built!! I might not have the model number right, I was trying to take notes while the auctioneer was telling people about the car as it was DRIVEN into the auction shed!!! The owner said he turned down $42,500 for it last year....will be fun to see if it sells tomorowYesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Dave,
I did a little digging on the Lincoln you mentioned. It had to be a Model "L" cause that's the only model they offered. It appears that they had the Model "L" from 1921 till 1932, then switched to the Model "K". The Judkins 2dr Cpe had a production total of 205 in 1927. I'm sure a Lincold "expert" will know more about it come auction time.Mike Casella

I looked at my scribbling again Pro, it is an L and not a J. Thanks for the info. If the car is that rare, doubt I will be in on the bidding anyhow!!!!! I did see a couple Fairlanes and one Torino I might hang around for, though.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
