This is a vintage appearing 1934 Ford Coupe Jalopy with a fiberglass body mounted on a 1980's GM "metric" chassis such as a Monte Carlo or Chevelle. The engine is a modified 355 cubic inch Chevy having a roller cam, roller rocker arms, an aluminum Weiand intake manifold, Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Dynaflow exhaust headers, eight quart oil pan, etc. The transmission is a GM TH-350 three-speed automatic mated to an OEM (original equipment manufacture) 7 1/2 inch GM rear end. The rear end is locked with standard drum brakes. The front suspension has tubular upper "A" arms and new disc brakes/rotors. This car has power steering. Photos included show the car with and without decals. Presently, the car is void of decals and stickers.
There is a professionally installed four-point roll cage that is fully padded. Other aftermarket racing items are: Two Kirkey-brand racing seats with the driver's seat being adjustable to suit various drivers. New Simpson five-point seat belts that are 3 inches wide. Full set of lighted gauges (oil pressure and coolant temperature) with warning lights. A five inch tachometer with a memory function. Aluminum four-tube racing radiator. JAZ brand 12 gallon foam filled fuel cell. Fully adjustable (screw jack) coil spring suspension for all four corners. AVCO racing shock absorbers with rod ends. Four each Bart-brand chrome steel wheels that measure 15 inches x 10 inches wide (5" x 4 3/4" pattern). The right-rear wheel is equipped with a beadlock. Four each Hoosier brand 15" x 11 1/2" treaded racing tires. The front brakes are disc-style and the upper "A" arms are tubular in construction. KN permanent air filter with a nylon Outerwear pre-filter.
Spare parts include extra coil springs with different spring rates, three spare treaded tires plus assorted odds and ends.
This car has been fully inspected and serviced. All fluids (oil, transmission, power steering, rear gear grease, brake, coolant) have been flushed and replaced. All filters...oil, transmission, gasoline (two each), have been replaced. The engine thermostat has been replaced with one made specifically for a racing application.
