For Sale, 1940 Plymouth 2 door Sedan street rod
For Sale,
I have had this car since 1990, But A deal for another street rod has come up forcing me to sell this one.
This is a 1940 Plymouth P-10 2 door sedan. The body is in good shape, except for the spots in front of the rear fenders. both sides have had rust. I repaired the passenger side with "ok" results. The drivers side is still in need of repair. I have already painted the dashboard, the window trim , firewall and inside the engine bay(Blue) The drivers rear fender has been damaged at some time. I have another fender that is better shape. I have a brand new set of running boards from Smoothie Fabrication still in the box for it. The remainder of the body is good shape for a 60 plus year old.
The engine is a Small Block 350 bored 60 over. Its a 4 bolt main. I have Dart 2 heads. It had TRW 10:1 pistons. And an Isky Cam. The intake is an Edelbrock Preformer RPM, And a Edelbrock Carb. Handmade headers, made by me.
The Trans is a Th 350 with a shift kit. I put a chrome pan on it. So it leaks.
I put a Mustang II front end with 11 inch brakes. I put new bushings . The rear end is out of a 68 Chevelle with 3.08 gears. The car runs and stops good. I have been driving it for about 10 years. asking $10,000
I Have tried to be honest about the car. I know I would know what problems the car has.
I have tried to attach pics with this post but with dial up, Its not going to happen. If you are interested in seeing the car email me at slumbert@hotmail.com and I can send you some .
