46 hotrod chevy pickup (project)
1946 Chev truck.
Boxed rails, M-II front end
Manual rack, frontend needs rebuilt kit yet and 5 lug rotors.
Polished stainless 4 bar with panhard in the rear and carrera coil overs.
Chassis is blocked and primed, pretty much done.
4" dropped tubular trans crossmember
96 S-10 10 bolt rear with very low miles
Tilt GM column, no ingnition on it so you can run it in the dash where it should be.
Truck was a 3100 long bed 3/4 ton, frame was shortened 20" out of the middle and 8" off the back end, looks tough as hell now.
Look at the pics on my website to get the full scoop on how it was cut, its fish plated, serpentine cut and boxed, no worries there.
The cab has had 3 out of 4 cab corners replaced and the whole back of the cab below the beltline as well as the floor. Its rust free now.
The bed was shortened a shitload and boxed on 1X1 tubing.
Thats package number 1, price is 3500.00, WITH TITLE and REGISTRATION.
For package number 2, all of the above plus:
World class T-5 trans (out of an 84 Z-28)Shifts nice, needs nothing
chev 350, Standard 010 4 bolt main block
Standard pistons
Standard crank
I was going to build a 383 so when I put it together I just used the stock pistons, everything came out within tolerance, so later I could add a 383 crank kit when I had the cash.
Crank is std/std cast. within tolerance
Edelbronck performer RPM aluminum heads
Lunati roller rockers
Crower gear drive
Comp cams cs xs274s-10 solid cam, .501 int .510 exh lift, 274/280 dur @ .015 tappet lift 106 centerline solid cam, (it rocks HARD from 2000 over 6000)
Weiand aluminum water pump (may need rebuild, bought it used)
Edelbrock Streetram tunnel ram (new never ran)
2X Edelbrock 500 CFM carbs (new never ran)
Summit Street scoop, looks like old hilborn scoop (new also)
Edelbrock classic finned aluminum valve covers (new)
Chrome Full length headers (used)
Finned aluminum oil pan, new but been kickin around awhile, needs repolished
This engine has about 1000 miles since I put it together, it had performer RPM intake and a single 4 BBL on it then and ran very well.
Thats it, price for this is 8000.00 for the works.
To make it run this truck will need pedal setup, steering linkage, driveshaft shortened 3" or so, wiring and fuel system. All the hard fabrication is done.
(I'm sure there will be 500 other little things to do so don't hold me to that exact list)
go to http://www.myweb.cableone.net/clsscman/sale.htm for tons of pictures.
only trades I'm interested in are running 331/354/392 hemi, desoto hemi, model A title and parts, 4" dropped axle, who knows what else to build my A coupe.
I'm not interested in splitting it up other than with or without engine, if it doesn't sell I'll just keep plugging away on it so it wouldn't make sense to sell stuff off it I would just have to replace later.
I'm in southeastern Idaho and can probalby get it to Salt lake city utah if needed, otherwise I can help someone load it to transport.
Happy shopping!
