Is Anybody Interested in Owning This Truck?
This panel truck (I think Chrysler called it a "sedan delivery") was parked in the woods near where I live (get this!) 25 years ago.
1962 Dodge "Sedan Delivery"
Chassis: half ton
Engine: 225 c.i. slant six
Transmission: standard with three on the column
Color: sea sick green
Condition: pretty rough. Rust in floorboard and bottom of doors and also around wheel well edges. Some dents and dings. Restoration will require some effort.
The owner is an old friend of mine. I asked him what it would take to have somebody take the truck off his hands. He said if somebody showed up with $400 and was willing to haul it off, okay. He also said he would loan his flatbed trailer for the purpose.
The truck is in Northeast Tarrant County, Texas (Fort Worth/Dallas area).
If anybody is interested, send me a PM and I'll send more pictures. In case this picture doesn't go through, don't give up on me. I'll try again.

Good point, Denny! I sure don't want to get in the middle of that one!
Actually, "rats " wasn't exactly what I said when I saw that the picture didn't go, but my wife was sitting here coaching me and she wouldn't let me post what I really said.

That would make a great hot rod, shop truck/parts runner and would probably run great with the original drivetrain restored. The price is good too....that one won't last til the weekend, if it's not already sold.

If I lived closer, I'd snag it. That would make a great street rod.PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.

I'm thinking blown Hemi, Torqueflight, Volare front end, 3 in top chop, reverse opening hood, a conservative tub job on the rear, A new set of Halibrands. Oh and a wild flame paint job

I just want to thank Big tracks and his brother for bringing the truck all the way from Ft. Worth to Corpus Christi(650 miles one way). We've been working on this for a while now and it has finally come to pass. These guys are great and I can't thank them enough. Hope ya'll caught some fish while you were down here. I plan on making it my chase vehicle for the A and hope my son will find interest in it also. If anyone has any suggestions for drivetrain, suspension, etc. let's hear them. Thanks again.
