'23 T bucket roadster
I hate to do it, but it's time to make room in the garage. Hopefully someone can appreciate the originality and uniqueness of this car.
Originally built in 1969 by Lou Hislop for Jack Urich (owned Urich Lincoln/Mercury & Urich Oil) as a promotional/show car. Custom built 2" chrome tube chassis, 4" drop 4 link front, 9" chrome 4 link rear w/ chrome Koni coilovers all around. Original Hurst/Airheart calipers f&r, m/cylinder, hats and mounts. On the rear, 16x11 Halibrand magnesium 6 pin k/o's with new 14.5" M&H cheater slicks. On the front, 15x6 Halibrand magnesium 6 pin k/o's.
Was originally built with Louie Unser built blown Boss 429, but was replaced with standard 429 in late 70's/early 80's due to problem with wheelying. Custom C6 (shortened output shaft and ext housing) with manual shift valve body. Vintage SW gauges and Sun SST-802 Super Tach
Leather diamond tuck interior (real, not vinyl) recreated form original upholstery. Genuine T cowl lamps and taillamp (not repop crap). Sanded thru 5 coats of paint and 1 layer of gel coat to the original graphics..... copied onto onionskin paper, then reproduced.
Been on numerous magazine and book covers and articles and has been well research and documented. There's so much more detail and history to this car, but I think you get the idea.
