1946 Hudson Pickup Street Rod $25000
I am asking $25000 for this very rare vehicle, i belive there are less than a dozen on the road in Canada. The truck has most of the original steel for the body with some modifications being done to the front end grill style to change the profile, louvers were add to the hood and front fenders as well as louvers for the antenna on the cab, the box was shortened 1.5 feet, the rear fenders were to badly rotted to salvage so they were replaced by fiberglass (the only fiberglass on the truck), the box has a custom wood bed and the box tilts up, and many more custom touches. Here are some of the main bullet points:
- Has won to many trophies at car shows to count
- Less than 6000km since being rebuilt
- Body is 90% original steel
- Paint is in very good shape, Colour: PPG Lilac with custom mixed flames
- The body and frame were pinstripped by Yosemite Sam
- There is a custom dragon graphic on the rear tailgate by Gary Seller
- Engine is a 454 bored 0.30 over, 780cfm Holley carb
- Transmission is a 700-R-4 with a stage 2 shift kit
- Engine Dyno's out at 550 horsepower @ 7200 rpm
- 4:56 rear-end gearing on custom 4 link suspension
- 33x15x21 Mickey Thompson rear tires
- Box tilts up on for display
- Frame is custom 2x4 tube steel with a chevy Nova front clip
I have more statistics and photos available upon request and i will include all the Hudson memorabilia i have as well as the custom car cover with the sale. Email: ruckusin79@hotmail.com
I am located in Windsor, Ontario.
