55 Bel-air 2dr Coupe coming soon...
Hi all,
My name is Nathan. I am 27 and live in Tulsa, Okla. I am the owner of a 1955 Chevy 2dr Coupe. I am testing the waters for a future sale of this car. The reason I say future is right now the car has no engine or transmission. I am going to be restoring this car over the next 2 or more months. The body is straight with a very nice black paint job. All the crome is super shiny, no body damage at all. Cd player, gray interior. Super sharp.
It had a old 307/350 combo when I bought it , but that wasn't enough for me. I am going to put a 383 ci that I hope to get between 350-400 horsepower with, and a 700-R4 out of a 91 Camaro. Brakes, suspension etc. to be done as well. I would like to get between $20,000-$25,000 out of it. My question is would anyone be intrested in owning this car when I am done? I would also be open to a possible trade/cash deal. The projected finish time for this project looks to be late-Feb to early-March. It could be as late as early-April, but I doubt it will. I am not asking for any money from anyone (unless you want to pay to have it your way). I am trying to generate intrest since this is a high ticket item and not everyone has that for immediate use. I thought maybe someone would be intrested in opening up a line of communication possibly leading to sale of the car. If you are intrested in talking please drop me a line at Hotrod3276@aol.com
Thank you and I hope to hear from someone.

Sorry to say that tri-5 chevys have been waning in popularity over the past few years. I dont think youll be able to get the amount your thinking of for it but your welcome to try. A bit of advice though youll probably get just as much for the car with the average 350/350 combo. Thats all that street rodders seem to think even exists.
Best of luck Suede"its better to rule in hell, than serve in heaven."

total package
I do not want to sell it sans engine/tranny. I was just trying to generate a little intrest so when I was done I might have a few people intrested and not have to spend alot of time and money selling it. Ebay is an option but, Im not finished with the car so ebay isnt what I need. I am just looking for intrested parties. BTW check out Auto trader and Ebay and you will see 20-25 is fair market value. #s matching is great for a museum piece but, not a hot rod.
