1969 Camaro
This car actually belongs to a friend who doesn't really want to sell, but it has to go anyway.
He bought the car as a high school senior in 1990, then parked it in '93. We pulled it out of his dads garage in 2002 and started going through it. I did all the body and paint work on the car. It was a good solid car already so it didn't require much. Someone had put quarters on the car before he bought it. We installed a new steel cowl hood as well as the RS grill. The color is something that we came up with, and yet it is still a repairable color( we have the formula). The flames are PPG Harlaquin Essence (harlaquin mixed in basecoat) From some angles the flames completely disapear. From others they totaly jump out at you.
The suspension is all new and it has been dropped 2 inches all the way around. At this time disc brakes were added to the front. It has also been converted to a rack and pinion set up from Unisteer. Power is from a 350 with an automatic TH350. the engine does have 202 heads. I don't know alot about the engine other than the fact that it runs great.
The interior is all new and is black. The dash pad is still the old one but it is in good shape.
The car was just finished the last week in July and has only 60 miles on it since 1993!!!
Asking 25k or best offer..... not looking for any trades, thanks anyway.
I have more pics upon request.
