62 Impala 409
1962 Chevy Impala in need of restoration.
Mechanically sound.
Fresh 409 eng. & Muncie 4 speed trans.
Shifter is a Hurst Comptition plus.
All new carrier bearing & u-joints.
New flywheel, clutch, throw out bearing & pressure plate.
New shocks, all new brakes, all the floor pans + trunk have been replaced.
Gas tank has been cleaned.
Needs interior & body work to finish restoration.
All the lights work.
Fair tires & ET type slots wheels.
New alum raditator.
New battery.
Rear end is stock open: ratio is unknown.
Front supension is stock & is tight.
New 2 1/2" dual exhaust.
Minor rust in rear quarters.
Car was an original SB Chevy V-8 with a PG trans.
This car is in pretty good shape for a 49 year old car.
It wouldn't take a lot of massive body work to restore it.
All the hard work is done such as the floor pan replacement.
Most of the interior can be bought over the web.
If this is your cup of tea, then this would be an great start.
Drive it home or trailer it, your choice.
