1947 Cadillac Series 62 4 Door Sedan Restoration Project
Rare 47' Cadillac only 25,800 sedans built in 1947. This Caddy has all the factory installed options including the underseat heaters as well as the dealer installed options. 99% complete project. car is currently assembled as the body and glass and some of the stainless / chrome. The car is in phenominal shape as it's been stored properly over the years, last tabs were 1965. Original 346 flathead motor is in the car and complete. Only minor surface rust is present on the undercarriage. These cars have been averaging at auction this past year at 73K restored. Parts are being stored indoors that have been removed from the car in preparation for refitting and refinishing. Minimal body time will need to be spent to get this ready for show n go, most of the work left is minor parts and interior.
This is a must see as other cars from 46 & 47 down in AZ have been going for 12K+ recently within last few months and not nearly in this condition! why truck all the way down there to pay the same kinda money on something that's in lesser condition when theres one right here on your back door step? This is a restorer's dream to get a vintage car in this kind of shape and as complete as it is. you wont find another this complete and ready to go. The 47' was considered one of the best Cadillac's ever designed by Harley Earl as it was based on the 42 design and refitted with all the bells n whistles starting in 47'. This car has the original Automatic transmission.
Asking price is $13,500 Negotiable, Serious Buyers Only! Clean Title In Hand.
