39 Olds Convertibile Project
1939 Olds 2Door sedan changed into a convertible
Chassis:
1. Narrowed Nova sub-frame with disc brakes
2. Power brakes; 8” vacuum booster/dual circuit master cylinder
3. New steel brake lines
4. New flexible brake lines
5. Boxed frame ( full length)
6. New rear gas shocks and mounts
7. New motor and transmission rubber mounts
8. Stock GM power steering system
9. New gas lines setup for fuel injection ( 2 lines )
10. Reworked Nova gas tank (17 Gal.) setup for fuel injection and side fill
Engine:
1. 1989 Chev. Small block, rebuilt approx. 10,000 miles ago
2. Aluminized ceramic coated headers (Hooker)
3. TPI (Tune Port Injection), GM computer, all required computer parts
4. Aluminum Finned valve covers
5. Polished Aluminum Alt & AC Brackets and tensioners
6. Aluminum engine drive pulley
Transmission:
1. 1986 GM 700R4 with stock torque converter and drive shaft
Body: 1939 Olds 2 Door sedan

3. Early Corvair convertible front top bow
4. 1965 Ford Falcon convertible top frame mechanism with hydraulic cylinders
