1960 Chevy Bel Air BBC post sedan - Looking to TRADE

    Location: Connecticut Price: $8000
For Sale but prefer to TRADE. I am really hoping to find a 30’s sedan (or rumble seat) rod in similar condition or comparable value to this car. I need that back seat for the kids. Projects may be considered.

I have 1960 Bel Air post sedan that is turnkey, driven and currently CT registered. Though I love this car, I'm thinking about getting more into some sort of rod similar to what my Dad always had when I was kid. The Bel Air does need finishing, basically exterior paint. I’ve already done all of the hard work and spent a ton of money on it so far. I have listed more info on the car below.

I loaned the car to American Autowire in New Jersey and they used it for R&D to develop their latest complete wiring harness product for this model. In exchange, they completely professionally rewired the car from bumper to bumper. It’s the car they used for photos in their 58-60 Impala Classic Update kit install manual and they did a YouTube series with it that can be seen online, I think it’s a 5-6 part series. They also told me that Lowrider magazine did a “how to” photo shoot with it while they had it, but they have not run the article yet.

Some more pics (and video) here:
Note:Some of these pics were taken as I was putting it together, the car is pretty much intact now minus some odds and ends.

    More specifics on the car:
-454 big block w/Oval port Heads
-Edelbrock perfomer 2.0 dual plane intake
    -Edelbrock 750 carb, electric choke
    -Comp Cams 268H camshaft
-New headers, mufflers and side exit exhaust.
-Tranny is New Process A833 (RPO my6) 4 speed with overdrive
-New Hayes HD 12" clutch, freshly turned pressure plate and new throw out bearing
    -Hurst floor shifter
-Tranny side mounted hydraulic clutch slave with Wilwood master (not a cheap hydro throw-out out bearing)
-American Autowire Classic Update full wiring harness (professionally installed by manufacturer)
    -HEI distributor
-New deep cycle battery (trunk mounted with emergency shutoff)
-Dual electric fans w/ nice aluminum shroud
-New gauges and column mounted tach - all matching Mooneyes
-Driveshaft rebuilt, all new heavy duty u-joints and carrier bearing
-Front spindle and bearing conversion (ball bearings converted to Roller Timken bearings)
-CPP power disc front brake conversion kit (with new dual power master cylinder), rear drums.
    -All new brake lines.
-Complete front end re-done with poly-bushings, new ball joints, new tie rod ends (with a professional alignment job)
    -New shocks front and rear
-New(er) tires and rims, less than 100 miles on them.
-Solid body, no major rust issues (car was acid washed and epoxy primed)
-Frame and undercarriage stripped and sealed with POR15
-New floor pans welded and seam sealed
    -Newly upholstered seats (black)
    -New uninstalled carpet kit (black).
-5 new aircraft style lap belts (to make the wife happy when carting the kids around)
-New trunk weather strip kit installed.
-Newly rebuilt heater core (and blower) with new gaskets (currently disconnected)

    What it needs?
-Paint job. It’s in epoxy primer now which actually looks pretty good as is. Car is pretty close to being ready for paint.
-Various pieces of side trim, I have a box of trim peices, need some more depending on trim option package you want on it
-Needs a small patch (2”x4”) in bottom inside of trunk fender wells, I’ll probably end up doing it over the next week or so. Looks like water got in and settled.
-Door cards are decent, but personally I’d reface them at some point. They aren’t installed yet.
    - Door glass uninstalled. Missing one side, I have one which is mirror image of other to use as template, or purchase one new (cheap).
-Assholes at alignment shop stripped two lug nuts using air gun (minor)
    -Needs a door weather-stripping kit
-Carpet needs to be installed (I have it)

I would sell for right price but really looking for trades. Since I need a price let's just say $8000. But TRADE is what I’m after here, cash in my hand would probably get pissed away on bills right now and I don’t want to do that. Let me know if interested. Car is in Conn Connecticut.
