Original Dan Woods T Bucket built in the early 70s, current reg in CA as 1915 Ford!
For sale.....Original Dan Woods T Bucket built in the late 1960s, early 1970s.....Currently reged in California as a 1915 Ford. Original Model T VIN plate attached to the frame, and pink states 1915 Ford!
Own a piece of History...this is an original 1915 Dan Woods T Bucket built in the late 1960s early 1970s. This classic T Bucket has Dan Woods signature opposed coil over front suspension, and channeled body. The headlights and taillights are original items from 1909 and made of brass, and the radiator is from the 1960s and made by Jim Babb. The motor was changed along the years to a Chevy 305, with 350 heads, and a nice Holly 4 barrel, transmission is a TH 400. Headers are early Sanderson with mufflers although it sounds better without them! Rear end is an early Jaguar independent suspension, and the steering box is a reversed Corvair box with original model T steering wheel. Disc Brakes on all four wheels, nice aluminum tank on the back. The bucket comes with a rear pickup bed. Wheels are originals from the 1960s. . .fronts are skinny spokes, and rears are Dan Woods widened Skylarks.
This T Bucket has great patina, but mechanically it is spot on and drives great. It will scare you poopless!! Leave it as is, or restore it back to its original glory. Best of all it is reged as and 1915, and has a current California title!
In the early 1960s at the age of 16, Dan Woods built the Show Car called The Milk Truck out of plywood and fiberglass. This show winning C Cab prompted Ed Roth to hire him and his buddy Jake Jacobs (of Pete & Jake's fame) to work for him. Dan Woods went on to work with Ed "Big Daddy" Roth in the creation of some of his feature cars, to me he's most notable as the builder of a generation of innovative T-Buckets of the highest quality through his Contemporary Carriage Works in the 1970s.
car has had the wireing redone, new Brembo rotors in the rear, new pads on all 4 wheels, and new Odyssey gel battery.
Looking to get $ 12,500.00....will consider trades, or make an offer...ya never know!
More pictures and a video at the link below....
Car in in Lathrop CA.
Thanks
