1934 Ford Tudor Project car...Henry Ford Steel Body...$22,500 OBO...located in AZ
Up for sale is a 1934 Ford Tudor project car. The car was purchased by my father about 7-8 years ago as a completed car, and about 2 years ago he decided to redo the car from scratch. Unfortunately, he passed away recently, and I am helping my mom sell the car.
Please note that the car was being restored by a shop in the Phoenix metro area. I do not have immediate access to the car, because I am located in the Washington DC area. (I took the photos when in Phx recently). I will do my very best to answer any questions, however. In some cases I may need to ask the shop or may refer you to the shop.
As you can see in the photos, the engine in not in the car, and many parts are not fitted. Buyer will be responsible for picking up all parts from the shop in the Phoenix area, and any transportation thereof. Buyer will rely on the shop to identify parts connected to this project. The car is sold with a clear Arizona title, which my mom (located in the Phx metro area) will be able to endorse over to the new owner. As noted below, the VIN is an assigned VIN issued by the Arizona DMV.
Here are the particulars:
-Henry Ford steel body car. Bodywork largely complete, but car is unpainted. Rust repair has been done, body has been media blasted, primed, sanded, primed again and partially sanded again. Not yet painted.
-Body was chopped 2-3"
-VIN is an assigned VIN issued by the state of Arizona (tag on firewall).
-Fenders are steel.
-Grill shell, rear panel and running boards are fiberglass.
-Engine is a brand new Ford Racing X302D crate motor, with new Tru Trac serpentine belt system (I believe fitted for AC and PS) and new Ford Racing flywheel installed.
-Gearbox is a 4R70W automatic overdrive transmission. Recently overhauled, and currently mounted on engine.
-Front brakes are new Wilwood disc brakes (installed, but not fully plumbed yet)
-Front suspension is Mustang II-based, with new Heidts upper and lower control arms (installed).
-Frame and body have been prepped and fitted for engine/trans/pedals/steering column, etc, including modified transmission tunnel, motor mounts, etc.
-Upholstered seats are included. Sort of a tan color, leather I believe. They are modern seats, but I am uncertain of what they are out of.
-Wheels are American Racing and would benefit from a polishing. Tires will need replacing.
The following NEW parts are included, but are not yet installed:
-CSIIB-C transmission control system (uncertain of brand)
-RideTech Shocks
-Holley carb
-Ididit steering column
-Tuff Stuff starter
-Vintage Air condenser
-Lokar Shifter
-Mattson Radiator
-Unused paint, I believe it is an orange Audi color, but I am not certain.
-Various other smaller parts...info available upon request.
Over $80k has been spent in parts and labor, not including the original body shell and components for the car before work was started 2 years ago. Upon request, I can provide copies of invoices from the restoration shop which detail parts purchased beyond those noted above, as well as descriptions of the specific work done by the shop.
Asking $22,500 or best reasonable offer. Please send any replies via direct message, and I can provide you with my phone number or offline email for more detailed information exchange.
