59 Ranchero for sale.
SOLD
I have this 59 Ranchero for sale. It's an older amateur restoration job that needs to be redone. The engine is a 352 that was rebuilt about 10,000 miles ago. It has a 4 barrel carb and chrome valve covers. It runs good and has a nice rumble through the dual exhaust.
The transmission needs work or replacing. It sometimes won't go into gear. You have to shut it off and wait a half hour and it will work. It's A real PITA.
I just picked up a transmission from a 65 T-bird that goes with it but I think it should be checked over before putting it in. It's been sitting for a while.
The brakes are good and it has 4 new tires on it. I think the seat is the original one. I think it's been redone but kind of plain looking. The dash was repainted but like everything else on this car, it should have been done better.
Some of the chrome trim was drilled and attached with screws. I have a lot of extra trim pieces I got on ebay to replace most of the damaged trim. I also have a spare grille.
Price: $2999. I'm giving you guys first chance on it before it goes on ebay.Last edited by The Al Show; 02-24-2005 at 04:54 PM.

Thanks Dave but It looks better in the picture than in reality. There's a lot of bondo that's cracking and lifting. The rear quarters were grafted on from a 4 door car and it shows. I added the Fairlane 500 chrome around the rear wheels to hide the worst of it. The aluminum trim panel that goes from the rear wheel to the bumper came out of a spray can. I'm suprised at how many people think it's real aluminum." Im gone'

Hey Al, I have been trying to trade a friend of mine out of a '58 for about a year now, he's trying to come up with the title back through the 3 guys who owned it before him!!! Anyway, I wish that was the only problems that it had!! Got to figure out something to do with that great looking roofline....... Would that be a 62 Falcon on the other side of the Ranchero???Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

The 58 windshield is easier to chop. It doesn't have those square corners at the top. For the top I would use the back window and roof section from a 71-73 Mustang coupe. I have the back half of a 73 that I have to scrap. I should probably save that piece. It might even look good on your radical 67 Racherostang.
The Falcon is a 60 two door. It has a 59 build date so it's one of the first Falcons made. I posted it for sale at the same time as the Ranchero. Check the archives for a picture." Im gone'

Sold
The Ranchero is sold. I put in another tranny for it and sold it last week.
I haven't been online for a couple of weeks cause my computer burned up. I'm still waiting to see if it can be repaired or if I need a new one.
I'm in the process of painting my 69 Caddy so I'll put that up for sale when I can get back online.
Hi to all my hot rod buddies. I'm lost out here in the woods without my pc.
