1960 Falcon 2 door for sale
Here's another one that has to go. It was a customers car. I put a new floor pan on the drivers side. it still needs a small patch on the pass side floor. The owner is having health problems and can't afford to finish it so I'm trying to sell it for him.
It was built in late 59 so It's one of the first Falcons made. It has the original 140 cu in. inline 6 cylinder engine and three speed standard transmission. It runs good but needs a rebuilt carburetor.
The brakes were redone a few years ago with new wheel cylinders and master cylinder but they never put in the brake fluid. I bled the brakes and they worked good for a while but the fluid has leaked out while it was sitting.
The body has some small rusted areas but not bad for a Maine car. The only weak spot on the unibody is the front crossmember directly behind the bumper.
This is the platform that the Mustang was designed on. The rear spring hangers are the first place to go on Mustangs but they are very solid on this Falcon.
The interior in good condition for it's age.
You can't drive it home but you can drive it onto a trailer.
The price is $995.
