1956 Ford Pickup Pictures

That's one very purple Effie you've got there.
Is the tilt nose a 'glass piece? or the factory steel welded and filled? I've seen both and they are cool either way. It's nice to sit on the tire and work on the engine.
I also like that you carried the purple color into the cab by painting the column and the steel. Some folks just paint the interior black.
NICE JOBEnsure that the path of least resistance is not you...

answer to your question
The hood is fiber glass. Thank you for the compliment on the paint job. And yes it is nice to sit on the tire and work on the engine.
