sensors
a little while back,i had transmission problems ,1 new torgue converter later the truck is moving,its a 96 dodge 5.9 litre but i have a 98 motor in it had to change sensors.now the truck starts up runs 10 minutes or so then shuts off will not recrank unless it sits awhile,i love dodges but this one is driving me bonkers,anyone have any idea.

When You say won't crank up for 10 minutes,do you mean that or won't fire up? Whenever troubleshooting electrical problems,the first thing I look for is good grounds,especially when I know the engine has been out. Then go to positive cable connections,and then on to voltage drops, from batt to relay to starter, and batt to interior power distribution. That being ok,check for power coming back out. Sounds like a bad connection overheating. Hank

motor turns over good,was running good after engine swap,changed torgue converter. when it runs does move but 10 min. later shuts down, turns over but doesnt fire up.acts like its starvin for gas.?
