.....Yep, I called them the other day after they were closed & left a message that I was interested in their headers for a 392. The guy called back while I sleeping & left a message that they don't sell a header for a 392 but they do make one & Hot Heads Hemi sells it for them! So YES, S & S Headers does make the pictured headers! I will call them again tomorrow & see if they won't just sell them to me direct or may be drop ship them to me? These headers have been on 'back order' for at least a couple of months now. Not sure what's up. So far my dealings have been less than perfect with Hot Heads. I ordered the 392 Hemi to Turbo 400 trans adapter passenger side starter from them & they sent the drivers side starter adapter. When I called I talked to Bob about this & he said "no problem, just send them back". I said "great, how should I mail them back so you can pay shipping?" "you want to mail me a shipping slip?". He said "were NOT paying for shipping, any returned parts are paid for by the customer!" Well, I flipped & we went back on forth for several minutes on who will pay the shipping. Seriously he must have said at least 4 or 5 times, "were NOT paying for the shipping, doesn't matter if it's our mistake or not!!!" He finally put Donna on the phone & she said "No problem, we'll mail you out the correct part today, with a return mail slip".... Great, so i get the passenger side starter adapter in the mail a week later & I mail the other one back. THEN I notice on my credit card statement they CHARGED me for the new part that they mailed out! I DIDN'T authorize this! But no problem as long as they charge back my card when the returned part returns. WELL it's been 3 weeks & still no charge back! I've called them a couple of times & they said they refunded it but it's not posted yet..... Other stuff I've returned to other company's didn't take this long!!! So anyway, I'm a little leary of dealing with them. I want to put there aluminum heads on my Hemi but I might not. Anyone who expects me to pay for shipping on THEIR mistake worries me!!! ... Hey, thanks for listening!!! Bill

Don't you love companies who have such firm policies, regardless of if they screwed up or not?? TCI did the same to us on my Son's C4 transmission, we paid a hundred bucks to ship it back to them and a hundred bucks to get it back again. Transmission had maybe 200 miles on it and the front pump went out and wiped out the transmission.

You and I have the upper hand though Bill, we will never buy another TCI product, plus you and I have alerted a whole bunch of people who may also make a buying decision based on what our "word of mouth advertising" says. Companies who do these sort of things are so short sighted, they forget the power of the internet and how many people are influenced to buy or not buy based on what others experience.

You may want to contact your credit card company and enter a dispute on that amount, just to be safe.

...you know Don until you mentioned it it never dawned on me how much the internet has changed the way 'word of mouth' spreads. Up until 12 - 15 years ago bad publicity would have spread rather slowly. BUT now a days? WHEWWW, in a matter of seconds thousands {if not 10's of 1000's or millions} are reading reviews on customers experiences! What's that they say? 10 satisfied customes tell 1 person but 1 unsatisfied person tells 10 people? Oh my bank posted my money back today. Just in time as I like to pay my credit card off in full each month & it was due. But I didn't want to pay for this just in case something went wrong.
So today I called Hot Heads & they said drop shipping was ok with them that they would contact S & S and ask them. So then I called S & S and they said it was ok with them as long as it was ok with Hot Heads. So may be something will work out! Oh & then I noticed that S & S listed a set of 392 outside exit headers in their on line cataloge. Not sure why THEY never mentioned this to me! Anyway, but no picture! So I asked them about a pic & they said they didn't have one. Then they checked to see if they had any of these in stock & they didn't. SO they sell a header but not only don't have any built but they don't even have a pic of it!!! Are these companies so busy that they can afford to do business this way??? I doubt it!!!
So TCI made you pay for shipping on their faulty product? Wow, I'll never do business with them either!!! Thanks for responding Don, Bill

Don, notice the post r/e "Bowler Trans won't honor my gift cert". Tim the tool man posted it, you responded to it & THEN it looks like Bowler Trans saw the post & commented on it! COOL the power of the internet in ACTION! ;-)

I know that you probably have already done this, but if not, contact your credit card company and let them know of your dispute with the vendor. They will investigate and make sure that you, the customer, gets the necessary action. Might take weeks or even 60 days to resolve, but the credit card company will get it done.

Remember to keep all of your documentation on the item and the return of the item.
