    67-75 318??

     



    ok,well i finally got the motor torn down to the bare bones and ive been triing to figure these #'s out. i figured out that this #2536030-318-13 is a LA block from 67-75.but i cant figure out what the 13 is in the sequnce.its stamped 12-7-70 we know what that is also.no the question i have is are the #'sfor the heads #2658234-1 these numbers say its a set from a 1967 273??closed chambered-int:1:78 exh1:50. they also have truck stamped on them.what is the -1 and are these any good?why would they have used these from that 273?plus there is a AAQA stamped on the front of the block any ideas??
    when all else fails USE A HAMMER!

    My friend ..you have theeeeeee best early 318 head you can get.
    They were only installed on trucks/small rv's in 1967.
    Passenger cars received it brother #902 which have the regular exh cross over/closed chamber

    #'234' heads have water heated cross over that leaves the exhaust ports blind no longer impeding flow on 2 prots with an exhaust cross over passage.
    They also have closed chambers around 57cc's [smaller than the later #302 casting]
    I have a set myself and won't be selling them anytime soon.
    They are sitting on a 9.1 .020 over 318 w/340 hyd cam and revs 6200rpm all day.

    For what they are,Great heads.

    why don't they have an auto delete date or after a certain time they go into a special file.

    Yeah I read the date, but if someone googles about these heads at least 'they can read the info'.
