    Another new guy from Arizona

For the last four months anyway.

Lived in Southern California for most of my life and took part in the hot rod scene along the coast.
Did some drag racing as well.

The previous 15 years were spent in Central California's San Joaquin Valley which has a hot rod presence as strong as anything I saw along the coast.

Kingman, Arizona where I now live has a strong hot rod presence as well.
A lot stronger than I'd envisioned.
Not been involved in it too much yet, that due to the weather lately.

My present ride is a 32 highboy roadster with 462" Buick engine.
The late model and not the Nailhead.
I have a project roadster that's coming along nicely, that one a 31 on 32 rails roadster.
Powered by another - stronger - 462" Buick.

I make most of my own parts and do the majority of the work on the cars.
Upholstery and the auto transmissions are the only things I farm out and the 31 may end up having a home-built T-400 if things go the way I think they will.

    Here's a pic of the 32.
The pic done by a photoshopping friend, but I like it.

    Welcome aboard C9.

Neat job your friend did with the photo.

Haven't seen that hubcap setup in a lot of years!! Dish "mags" are comin' back (ARE is releasing a "new" line next month)

    Welcome to CHR C9.
Just got a Christmas card a few minutes ago from my Sister in Gilbert, AZ.

    Guilty.
I do a little writing now and then.

    Thanks for the nice words.

Far as the hubcaps go, the styilized photo doesn't show it too well, but the caps are re-pro 32 V8 caps adapted to the slot mags with some home-made adapters.

I have some close up pics if it would help.
