Hey everyone, new to the board!
Figured this would be the first place i would post before i get into some technical questions. My names Rick, im 21 and i live in North Western Georgia. I've been doing metal fab and welding for about 4 years now, and ive been turning wrenches and building engines ever since i was about 13 with my dad. Hotrodding has always been a famliy affair, and we have a family Super Pro/Super Gas 69 Camaro that we race just about every weekend.
I personally own a 79 Z28 pro-touring car with a blown 383 and 6 speed T56. My father has a fully show restored 67 Camaro SS and we both frequent shows all during the year. My current project is a 87 S10 p/u that i've been installing a 2000 vette LS1 with a f-body 6 speed into. I believe however that im chaning my plans slightly and im wanting to drop a 47-54 chevy p/u body over the chassis, so thats what brought me to you guys. Ive always loved those body style trucks and i figure that it would also help me atleast get my money back out of this project if i were to ever sell it. I have several pics of our cars, but there fairly large so i'll wait to post them until someone wants to take a gander. But thanks for your time, and i hope to have a good time on this board.....later.

Any info on what mounts and headers you used? Especially since you moved it so far back. How does that work with the steering column? I'll 2nd the request for pics.
Sounds like you have some nice vehicles play with.
For s-10 specific questions, try checking www.s-seriesforum.com. I go by the same name on every board, and am very active on that one.'73 Datsun 240z - stock

I used Spohn LS1 swap mounts for a third gen camaro and cut the pad off the passenger side for a 1 1/2" offset. For headers, i bought a LS1 weld-up kit from Headers by Ed...haven't put them together yet because im changing body's now. The steering column wasn't a big deal after the engine offset to the passenger side and i slotted the firewall so i could move the column base 2" to the drivers side. Now here's the pics again......
