New member, just saying Hi
Hello to all, I just signed up today. I have been a member of Team Chevelle for many years, but thought I would broaden my horizons a little. This was recommended by a friend, and so far, it seems like a nice place. Besides my Chevelle and Camaro interest, I would be open to a V8 Vega, that is something I have wanted to do for a long time. If anyone has any experience with a Vega V8, or better yet is looking to get rid of one, I would be interested in a purchase or trade.
I live in upstate NY, about 30 miles west of Albany, NY. I am a self employed contractor, doing commercial work. I am also a refinisher, tubs and sinks, ceramic tile, fiberglass and acrylic repairs, etc. I am married, the Chevelle is mine, and the 67 Camaro was actually purchased for my wife. I am just now starting to work on it. Hopefully I can get it road worthy by this coming summer. I also plan on a big block stroker for my Chevelle for this coming season. I guess I have my work cut out for me. So, I look forward to learning, and to sharing my knowledge, limited though it may be, with everyone here. JohnWhen your dreams turn to dust, Vacuum!

Welcome to CHR John. I always liked camaros and I had a 69. I live in NY about 25 miles west of Syracuse so maybe if your going to the Syracuse nationals this coming year I'll look for either a chevelle or camaro.Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

Thanks guys, make me feel welcome here. Chevy 37, I go to the Syracuse Nat's about every year, but I ususally dont take the Chevelle. Hopefully this summer will be different. It's about a two hr. drive for me, so it's not too far, but the car really isnt very street friendly either! That's OK, Im sure it would be more fun with the car there, than just walking around without it. I'll take some pics of the Camaro, but it's not much to look at yet. Thanks again, and I'll probably be a frequent visitor here. JohnWhen your dreams turn to dust, Vacuum!
