Howdy
Hey all, anybody else here into 46' Ford Super Coupes?
I hardly know a thing about this car, except that it originally belonged to my granddad, and that it does not run!
Haven't done much to it, got the water pumps rebuilt, and took a few pieces apart.
It ran shortly before i received it, but that was five years ago (things happen). It has basically just been sitting in the garage since then. I'm interested in getting it running first, and then into drivable condition (cars are meant to be driven imo).
I've rebuilt a jeep or two and an old Beetle in my time, but this thing is older than i am, so it's kind of overwhelming. I don't believe this car is valuable, just sentimental. It also seems like something that would be really nice to drive 1or2 Saturdays a month to the local hotrod diner for an ice cream!
Any links, info, opinions, help, parts sources, or even just a 'hello' welcome.
Will post pics when i discover where i last placed my digi-camera, but all the parts are there... just every part is a bit rough.

Well, hello Wally. Welcome to the forums. I'll use your other post to say anything about the coupe.Duane S
