    enthusiastic newcomer lookin for ideas

     



    hey yall, im 16 and ive been workin on cars since i was 10 and have customized 2 cars already. I can weld and custome fabricate just about ne thin. I took an 85 mitisu truck and made it into a bobtailed off road beast on 36'' tires. the second is my 2003 ford mustang in which i have have kept unradical b/c its the car i have to drive everyday. i am currently workin on an 85 Mazada RX-7 w/ my father and im helpin my father with a toyota landcruiser. NOw im lookin to build a hotrod from the ground up, but keepin in my student price range. so far ive aquired a mopar v-8 and fitting 5 speed trans. im lookin to make a hotrod that i can cruise in and not as much for the speed. i want to get modern brakes and what not for it and not particular to the body style yet (thats why i need ideas) and am happy at any and all info i can get. THX a bunch

    How about a 1949-1950 Merc or a 1955-1957 Chevy ( Tri 5 era chevys ) or even, a 1941-1950 Dodge, plymouth or chrysler or even maby, if you can get lucky and streach the bank a lot and find a Chrysler Airflow.

    what about a 70 charger or challenger the old pickup would be cool say 30,40,50's they look pretty good i would go with a dodge myself if i was goin to put a dodge engine init
