Hello from Upstate NY
Hello everyone, my name is Frank and I'm in the process of restoring a 1937 Chevy 1/2 Ton Pickup.
I look forward to sharing parts / information with everyone. If anyone knows of any good parts suppliers where I can look for parts needed for my truck I'd appreciate it.
I've found a couple of places but want to make sure I'm getting the good quality / prices.
My truck has a projected completion date of July 4, 2005 in time for the parade in Northville, NY so I'm going to need all of the help I can get.
The picture shows where I started from. I'm nearly ready to prime the cab after doing the bodywork. I've got to fix the doors and order about 5-6K in parts.
Thanks!!!

Welcome to CHR Frank. I lived in the Syracuse area and have a 37 chevy truck which was built from donor trucks found in Vermont. Might be able to help on some parts. What are you planning to do with it? What engine and drive train are you going to run, a SBC or something else?Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

Rolling chassis is done with a 350 Goodwrench Motor, mild cam, lifters with a little noise from the gear to gear. 350 Turbo trans with shift kit.
I'm replacing the box, running boards, fenders, etc. Am almost done with the bodywork on the cab and should be priming this week....hopefully.
I am going to buy the repair kit for the exterior of the doors and get started on that as soon as the priming is done.
Any parts you're willing to "part with" or any places I can track parts down let me know what it is and how much.
Thanks!!
