    Stopping by to say HI

Just saying hello. New to the forum, Learing alot as I go about my newly aquired 69 SS Camaro. It needs alot of work and TLC but at least I got it running and driving again. after it sat for 15years in a garage in WA. FYI rain no good for car interior. Even though it was in a garage the smell of mildew lingures on.

Welcome to the club. Want to get rid of the mildew smell? wash the interior with a good laundry soap, vacuum it, leave the windows open for a few days and soak it in febreeze. Works every time

The body is realy straight only a bit of surface rust were the paint is chipped. However the interior needs to be completly redone.

From the pictures, it looks as if you live in a desert community. That will be to your advantage in getting rid of the "damp" smell; clean the interior really well with a good carpet and (if appropriate), upholstery cleaner, and let it dry and air out really well. The dry desert air can do wonders; just don't get caught with it all opened up if a duster blows up, or the interior will smell like dust.
