    Intro 82 cutlass

HI guys just found this site. I know this car does not fit into the typical hot rod scene ( ie to new. your fathers oldsmobile ) BUt as for what it has so far is a 350 olds rocket bored .030 over mild street cam just enough extra speed to be fun but streetable even for my wife.

    82 Cutlass

Hey 82 cutlass. Not a bad car. So tell me, did you get the full guage package or the stupid oversized speedometer and idiot lights? Also, if you need a set of 14inch mags, I have the ones from my 82 cutlass. Matched set of 5(4 tires and the spare). Good luck with the project, and post some pics!

Welcome to the site. I.m a newbie too. I also have an Olds. Don't knock your car just because it's an '82. My car is a '73 and one car show in my area wouldn't let me enter my car in their show because it was not a '72 or older car. Heck, most the car shows in this area don't even have categories for the Oldsmobile. I guess they figure they're all fogie cars. Oh well, screw'em! Have fun with the forum and "Welcome!"

    Welcome

    I'm new here also.
Do not worry about what kind, or what year your car is. You enjoy cars and you enjoy modifying them to fit your own personal tastes. That is the important part.
The mighty Olds 350 is nothing to frown at...They run forever and make great power. I've had my share of Oldsmobiles and have never been dissapointed.

    Have fun!

Welcome aboard there. As far as your hot rod I think you'll be fine here. A very fine smattering of car fellas, one of the least uptight of all teh boards I frequent. An '82 Cutlass, that could make a fine ride. Good sized front engine rear wheel drive, it's the perfect platform and light weight too. I've got a '79 that is a factory V8 4spd stick shift. Got all the cool gauges and stuff and I love it. It's the perfect sleeper, looks like all the lowriders in the valley here. I'm gonna go with a stroker SBC hooked up to that 4 spd and keep it stock lookin'. Oughta be fun with all the fox body muskrats we got around here.
