G'day From Australia
Hey everyone, just thought I'd introduce myself.
My names Ryan, I live in Sydney, Australia.
Have been a car enthusiast ever since I knew what a car was.
I like all cars from the classics to modern day imports. Some more so than others. Just thought I'd join the club to pick up some tips and maybe lend some ideas in some areas.
Interests are obviously cars, outdoors, water sports (skiing, diving etc) and partying.
Car I would most like to own would be Ben Gatts '39 Lincoln Zephyr. Clck here for pics http://www.mybarina.com/gallery/Dumped
Thats it for now. hope to be able to meet some of you and chat about experiences and stuff.Last edited by MisterX; 04-25-2005 at 05:34 PM.

Hi Ryan
When I saw the picture of your dream Lincoln, my husband pulled out last years Street Machine top 10 magazine and that car was in it. Its a pretty cool lookin car - the original ones dont look much like that one though do they!?
I am feeling totally frustrated with my chevy at the moment. Well the cars fine but my 350 motor is not coming together fast enough!!! My hubby only said tonight "Some of these guys took years to build their cars" its not gonna happen overnight. I guess it all comes down to cash doesnt it. If we all had plenty of money we could go out and buy everything all at once and there'd be no problem.
So now Ive written down everything I have to buy to be able to put the v8 into the chevy. The most expensive thing is going to be the exhaust. John (my hubby) said to buy block huggers for now so I can get it registered as a v8 but I can't see the point in spending money on something that is only going to be temporary. Im going to ask around and see if I can borrow an exhaust manifold just to get it registered.
Anyway, its great to know another Aussie on here.
Cheers Trish
