Heavy Magic Fine Leather Customs
Hello all
just joining Club HotRod
I have been a member of Club Chopper for a long time and have to say these are the greatest forums in the world.
I am a custom leathersmith by trade, making my living doing
high-end custom chopper seats, mainly for show bikes, and absolutely love my trade, dedicated to it Heart & Soul.
Recently I have been really interested in doing custom leather seat covers for the Old Style Rat rods,Vintage VW Buses and simple bucket style seats for just about anything cool.
Here are some examples of my first Auto seats that I did for my own 66 Split window VW Bus.
I have a pretty crazy style of Stitching and can pretty much stitch anything you can dream up.
anyhow ....I'm looking forward to making some great new friends here at CHR.
again hello to all.

Man that looks GREAT!!! They need some custom interior shops around here in NC. There are some shops that do it but not that nice or nothing like that, just plain tweed and leather upholstering. I would love to be able to learn how to do Upholstering. I was wishing they had a class of some sort here but I couldn't find any.www.streamlineautocare.com
If you wan't something done right, then you have to do it yourself!

well I'm not a upholustery shop, just a one man show,
that was my first go at auto interiors, I have a lot to learn...
but I have found no one else offering my style so I figured I would take a run at it and see what happens.
it is tedious and time consuming but, Hey isn't everything worth having.
drawback to the consumer "it's expensive", but as the saying goes you get what you pay for, especially in these times.
thanks for the Props though,
just got muy first real auto job in the shop this week, I will be doing a custom single cab VW truck 2/3 bench seat,
should be interesting and fun.
I'll post the progress in a new thread when I start, which will be next week.
