newbie saying helllooo
hi,
newbie here.
i live in the uk. with my future wife(2 days time!!!) and 2 kids.
i'm building a ford popular(anglia) 1954.
boxed frame, rover(buick)v8 volvo rear.
front is stock beam moved forwards, rear volvo on triangulated ladder bars with coilovers.
stock roof height, 2" over rear fenders. ford prefect front sheet metal with no fenders.
wheels undecided, have a choice of steels or alloys. leanings towards steels.

Chris, Hi. I have a little story for you. I'm in Tucson Arizona, and I have a friend who brought a Pop back from the UK when he was in the service. Drove it on the street with SB Chevy power for about 20 years, then converted to drag race only. The car was later wrecked in a high speed rollover. He donated what was left to a body shop school, so it may rise again! Welcome. Jay

Welcome - you're gonna get tons of help at CHR with a project like that! I am continuously amazed by the ingenuity and engineering knowledge found in the forums.

I believe you can only add one picture to a forum reply, but you can upload more pictures to your gallery directory. Click on the Gallery tab, then 'Upload Pictures' at the upper right.
