Thats a nice frame they make,... Very nice.

Ya given much thought to where you're gonna put the radiators? Always looked funny with vents up front, I'd played with other mounting ideas years back when I was thinkin of makin one

one of the guys i talk to around here said i should try and pull air from under the front nose instead of butchering the front hood.i also thought of making it a rear radiator setup which would pull from under the car as well havent decided. frame should be here this month then i will see what is feesabal to pursue.

An angled setup with fans like they are mounted in the Cobras would work pretty nicely. If you use a 1-piece glass front end that would give more than enough airflow w/o having to mess up the natural lines of the beetle.

Something I looked at was inlet vents/NACA dusts on the rear quarters & using two smaller raditors in a series (wasn't gonna have a back seat anyway).

the way i am thinking of doing it ultimatly is creating a opening under the nose with a little scoop to direct th air into the radiator.i dont want to cut the nose up or add i think it is jaguar front grill in the hood either.some ofthe guys that race 358 dirt modifides just enclose there radiator in the front like a tunnel and pull air off the track from the ground.

Was the porche 928 the 1 that had all the little radiators and fans?sumpin similar would probably work, they lookin like jumbo heater cores with fans and venting.just a thought.
Its gunna take longer than u thought and its gunna cost more too(plan ahead!)
